To be fair, the Player Character in the games are somewhat just on the sidelines, they only go around providing their strength to help others, they don't actually do anything outside of certain quest cutscenes.

I havent watched this episode yet but this comment is reflective of the thought I've had EVERY episode so far. Character is utterly useless. When the first gumi was killed in front of him and he said "i'll never let it happen again" I thought "emphasis on 'let'" because he just watches it happen.

So that was Serafina all along too, while in cahoots with Sandra. I thought at first, Sandra disguised as her.

Shiloh I agree, but don't put Ruri down as well! The guy works super hard and in this episode, he sacrificed even more of his life force and for what, a shitty princess that only hides and doesn't even worry about him! Shiloh is just too soft on women, kind of like Sanji from One Piece where he never fights at his best. Ruri is weaker but fights with more spirit than Shiloh, so no, he is not lame!

Fun fact, in the game, you never "help" Sandra. Prob just a plot device to include Serafina.
